# Versioning

> How the API changes without breaking your integrations.

The API lives at `https://api.trytikt.com/v1`. Every answer carries the header **`tikt-api-version: 2026-10-01`**: the version of the objects it returns — the same objects, in the same version, as the [webhooks](/webhooks/versioning).

## What is not a new version

TIKT can, at any time and without notice:

* add an operation, a query parameter or an optional body field;
* add a field to an object;
* add a value to a field that has a list of values — a new `status`, a new error `reason`, a new event type.

**Ignore what you don't know.** Read the fields you need, accept extra ones, and treat an unknown value as “other”. Don't refuse an answer because it carries a field you didn't expect.

## What is a new version

Removing an operation, a parameter or a field, renaming it, changing its type or what it means, or making an optional parameter required is a **new version**:

* announced **six months** in advance;
* under a new address (`/v2`) for operations, or a new `tikt-api-version` for objects — the old one keeps working for the six months.

## Changelog

| Version | Date | Changes |
| - | - | - |
| `v1` · `2026-10-01` | October 2026 | First version of the API: 64 operations — your workspace and credits, leads, lists, posts, tracked profiles, ICP and blocklist, analytics, events, webhook destinations and workflows. The objects are those of the webhooks' `2026-10-01`. |
