# Slack

> Get a message in a Slack channel when new leads match a workflow.

TIKT posts in Slack through **Connect Slack**: you pick a channel on Slack's own page, and TIKT gets an address to post in that channel — nothing else. It has no access to your messages, your people or your other channels.

## 1. Connect Slack

From the **Leads** page: open **Workflows**, create a workflow, add **Send notifications**, choose **Slack**, then **Connect Slack**. Or from **Settings › Integrations › Add destination › Slack**.

1. Slack opens its page: pick the workspace and the channel, then **Allow**.
2. You come back to TIKT. A welcome message is posted in the channel: *TIKT is connected to #your-channel. New leads from your workflows will show up here.*

The connection appears in **Settings › Integrations**; any workflow can use it. **Test** posts a sample message in the channel.

## 2. What you receive

One message per batch of new leads, never one per lead — at most one every 4 hours per workflow:

* the workflow's name and how many new leads;
* up to 10 leads, best scores first: name, title, company, score, and why they arrive (*New · 3 engagements · commented on Avery Collins's post*), with links to each person's LinkedIn profile, their company and the post;
* *and N more*, and a **View in TIKT** button that opens the workflow's activity.

Leads from the past — when you turn a workflow on with **Also apply to the leads that already match** — are never posted.

## Disconnect

Delete the connection in **Settings › Integrations**: the workflows that use it are paused. To remove TIKT from your Slack workspace, open the connection and click **Manage on Slack**.
